Marshalling Fun(or Insanity if you ask fellow Marshalls !)
We are in our second season as members of the British Motor Racing Marshalls Club, an activity which takes us to all corners of the Country at weekends. As motor racing enthusiasts, we wanted to be more involved without the expense of actually going racing. All Marshalls are volunteers, but the social aspects of a weekend at the track are more than adequate reward. Our first experience was at Oulton Park, when seven very fast TVR Tuscans decided to try to demolish our part of the track! We would urge any enthusiast who believes there must be more to life than Murray and Martin (Murray Walker and Martin Brundell, Formula 1 race commentators) on a Sunday afternoon to go to your local circuit and talk to a mad person dressed in Orange. We'll see you "on the bank".
